6 Best Alternatives to the LG gram 16 Intel Core (2026)

Comparing the LG gram 16 Alternatives

Apple MacBook Pro 16-Inch Core i7

The Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch with Intel Core i7 prioritizes display quality and discrete graphics over raw CPU generation. It weighs 4 pounds, which is significantly heavier than the 2.64-pound LG gram. You get 512GB of storage compared to the LG’s 256GB, offering more space for large files. This model suits creative professionals who need color accuracy and rendering power. However, you sacrifice portability and the latest processor technology. If you value a robust build and superior graphics for creative tasks, this is a solid option. The larger weight makes it less ideal for constant travel compared to the lightweight LG gram.

Dell Latitude 14-inch Core i7 Laptop

The Dell Latitude 14-inch Core i7 Laptop offers a more compact form factor for business use. It weighs 5 pounds, making it heavier than the LG gram despite the smaller screen. You get the same 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD configuration, ensuring similar multitasking capabilities. The 14-inch display is smaller than the 16-inch panel, which may reduce screen real estate for productivity. This laptop targets professionals who prioritize portability and business features over screen size. It lacks gaming capability, similar to the LG gram. If you need a smaller footprint for mobile work, this Dell model provides solid performance, though it is less lightweight than the LG alternative.

Apple 16" MacBook Pro Intel Core i7

The Apple 16-inch MacBook Pro with Intel Core i7 provides a large screen and ample memory for macOS users. It weighs 4.3 pounds, significantly heavier than the 2.64-pound LG gram. You receive 512GB of storage, double the capacity of the LG model. This laptop fits users who value build quality and performance over portability. It lacks cutting-edge specs compared to newer Intel generations. The macOS stability is a key differentiator for those outside the Windows ecosystem. If you prioritize a large display and color accuracy, this MacBook is a strong choice. However, the weight and older processor make it less suitable for users seeking the lightest possible mobile solution.

Dell Latitude 14-Inch Touchscreen Laptop

The Dell Latitude 14-inch Touchscreen Laptop offers a practical alternative for portable business tasks. It weighs 3.11 pounds, slightly heavier than the LG gram but still manageable for travel. The 14-inch screen is smaller than the 16-inch LG display, which may affect your workflow if you need more space. You get 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD, matching the LG’s core specs. The touchscreen adds a different input method compared to the standard LG trackpad. This model is ideal for users who prioritize touch navigation and portability. It lacks the larger screen size and color-critical display of the LG gram. If you need a versatile 14-inch device, this Dell offers solid business features.

GIGABYTE A16 16" RTX 5070 Gaming Laptop

The GIGABYTE A16 16-inch RTX 5070 Gaming Laptop delivers strong graphics and processing power for gamers. It weighs 4.85 pounds, much heavier than the 2.64-pound LG gram. You get an RTX 5070 graphics card and a 165Hz refresh rate, which the LG lacks entirely. The 1TB SSD provides five times the storage of the LG’s 256GB model. This laptop is designed for high frame rates and content creation. It sacrifices portability and battery life for performance. If you need dedicated graphics and a high-refresh display, this GIGABYTE model is a clear choice. However, it is not suitable for users who prioritize lightweight design and long battery life over gaming capabilities.

Dell Latitude 16-Inch FHD+ Laptop

The Dell Latitude 16-inch FHD+ Laptop offers solid business performance with DDR5 RAM. It weighs 6.39 pounds, significantly heavier than the LG gram. The 16-inch display is similar in size but lacks the color-critical features of the LG screen. You get 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD, matching the LG’s core memory and storage. This model targets business users needing a large screen for office work. It lacks the lightweight design and advanced features of the LG gram. The weight makes it less ideal for frequent travel. If you prioritize a large 16-inch display for video calls and office tasks, this Dell is a practical tool. However, it is bulkier and less portable than the LG alternative.
