This list helps you find a device that aligns better with your exact requirements.
How the other options differ
Dell XPS 13 Intel Ultra 7 Laptop
This Intel-based XPS 13 9350 replaces the Snapdragon processor with an Intel Ultra 7. You get a 120Hz display instead of the original 3K OLED screen, which prioritizes smooth motion over pixel density. It includes 1TB of SSD storage, doubling the original’s 512GB capacity. The chassis remains lightweight at 2.6 pounds, matching the original’s portability. This model suits users who prefer Intel compatibility and larger storage over high-resolution visuals. It drops the 3K resolution but offers a faster refresh rate for scrolling and video. You trade AI-specific NPU power for traditional x86 performance. It is a practical choice if you need more storage and a smoother screen without the OLED premium.
Dell XPS 13 Core Ultra 7 120Hz Laptop
The Dell XPS 13 9350 with Core Ultra 7 focuses on refresh rate rather than resolution. It features a 120Hz FHD+ display, which is less sharp than the original’s 3K OLED but offers smoother animation. Storage is 512GB, matching the original’s base capacity. It weighs 2.7 pounds, slightly heavier than the original’s 2.6 pounds. This model lacks a touchscreen, which is a significant difference if you rely on touch input. It is designed for users who value screen fluidity and portability over visual fidelity. You give up the OLED contrast and touch capability for a simpler, potentially more battery-efficient display. It fits mobile professionals who do not need high-resolution graphics or interactive screen controls.
Dell XPS 13 Snapdragon Laptop
This Ist Computers variant uses the same Snapdragon X Elite processor as the original but may differ in configuration. It retains the 13.4-inch form factor and weighs 2.62 pounds, nearly identical to the original. The key difference is the storage option, which is 512GB SSD. This model emphasizes efficient AI processing and battery longevity. It offers the same Copilot+ PC capabilities, including local AI acceleration. You might choose this if you find it available at a different price point or configuration. It provides the same core performance and AI features. The slight weight difference is negligible. It is a direct alternative for those who want the same Snapdragon experience with potentially different availability or minor spec variations in the internal components.
Dell XPS 13 3K OLED Touchscreen Laptop
This Dell XPS 13 9345 offers a 1TB SSD, doubling the original’s 512GB storage. It shares the same 3K OLED touchscreen and Snapdragon X Elite processor. The chassis is slightly thinner at 0.58 inches compared to the original’s 0.6 inches. It weighs 2.6 pounds, matching the original’s portability. This model is ideal for users who need more storage for large files or media. It provides the same vibrant display and AI performance. You get the same 16GB of RAM. The difference is primarily in storage capacity and slight dimensional changes. It is a solid choice for professionals who require ample space for projects while maintaining the high-resolution OLED experience and efficient processing power of the Snapdragon platform.
Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 4K UHD+ Touchscreen
The Dell XPS 13 7390 2-in-1 is an older model with a 4K UHD+ touchscreen. It supports up to 32GB of RAM, significantly more than the original’s 16GB. It features an Intel Core i7 processor instead of the Snapdragon X Elite. This model offers 1TB of SSD storage. It is a 2-in-1 device, allowing for tablet mode, which the original does not support. You trade modern AI features and efficiency for maximum RAM and a flexible form factor. It is suitable for users who need extensive memory for multitasking or specific legacy software compatibility. It lacks the latest NPU capabilities but provides a high-resolution display and convertible design. It is a robust option for those prioritizing RAM and versatility over cutting-edge AI performance.
Apple MacBook Air 13-inch M5 1TB
The Apple MacBook Air M5 uses Apple’s M5 chip instead of the Snapdragon X Elite. It features a 13.6-inch display, slightly larger than the original’s 13.4 inches. It includes 16GB of unified memory and 1TB of SSD storage. It weighs 2.71 pounds, slightly heavier than the original. This model offers excellent battery life and performance within the Apple ecosystem. You give up Windows compatibility and the specific AI features of Copilot+ PC. It is ideal for students and users who prefer macOS. The 1TB storage matches the higher-end Dell options. It provides a portable package with strong performance. You trade the Windows interface and specific Dell build quality for Apple’s integrated hardware and software experience.
