6 Best Alternatives to the Acer Swift Go 16 OLED (2026)

How these models differ

Apple MacBook Air 13-inch M1 512GB

The Apple MacBook Air 13-inch M1 offers a significantly lighter experience at 3.75 pounds compared to the Acer Swift Go’s 6.5 pounds. You trade the large 16-inch OLED panel for a 13-inch display, which reduces screen real estate. Both machines share 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, ensuring similar base performance for everyday tasks. The Apple model suits students who prioritize portability and sufficient storage over color-accurate visuals. It lacks the dedicated connectivity options like Thunderbolt 4 found on the Acer, but its compact chassis makes it easier to carry daily. You should choose this if you value weight and simplicity over a high-resolution creator display.

Lenovo LOQ 15.6" RTX 4050 Gaming Laptop

The Lenovo LOQ 15.6-inch gaming laptop targets users who need dedicated graphics power, which the Acer Swift Go lacks. It features an RTX 4050 GPU and a 144Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for gaming students. The screen is slightly smaller at 15.6 inches but offers smoother motion for fast-paced applications. You get 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage, matching the Acer’s base configuration. The Lenovo is heavier and bulkier, weighing 4.18 pounds with a thicker profile. It sacrifices the premium OLED color accuracy and ultra-portability of the Swift Go. Pick this alternative if you prioritize graphics performance and display smoothness over a thin, lightweight chassis with professional-grade visuals.

Apple MacBook Air 15-inch M2

The Apple MacBook Air 15-inch M2 provides a larger display than the 13-inch alternatives but remains much lighter than the Acer Swift Go. Weighing only 3.3 pounds, it offers superior portability while delivering a 15-inch screen. You get 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD, matching the Acer’s storage and memory limits. The chassis is silent and thin, measuring just 0.45 inches in height. However, it lacks the OLED panel’s deep contrast and 3200x2000 resolution found on the Swift Go. It also does not support expandable memory or dedicated graphics. Choose this model if you value a large, bright display in a thin frame over raw multitasking capabilities or high-end color accuracy for professional editing.

Apple M3 MacBook Air 13.6" 8GB/512GB

The Apple M3 MacBook Air 13.6-inch is designed for portable daily computing and travel. At 2.7 pounds, it is significantly lighter than the 6.5-pound Acer Swift Go. You receive 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage, matching the Acer’s base specs. The M3 chip offers strong performance in a thin, light chassis. However, you lose the large 16-inch OLED screen and the Intel Core Ultra processor’s AI acceleration. The display is smaller and lacks the professional-grade color gamut of the Swift Go. This alternative fits users who value battery life and maximum portability over screen size and maximum RAM capacity. It is a solid choice for travel rather than intensive creative work.

Apple 2024 MacBook Air M3 15-inch

The Apple 2024 MacBook Air M3 15-inch delivers a large display in a light frame, weighing only 1.51 kilograms. It offers 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD, matching the Acer’s base configuration. The 15-inch screen provides more real estate than the 13-inch alternatives, though it is still smaller than the Acer’s 16-inch OLED panel. You gain strong battery life and a portable design suitable for daily use. However, it is not suitable for intensive gaming or heavy multitasking. It lacks the dedicated graphics and high-resolution display of the Swift Go. Choose this model if you need screen real estate without heavy desktop performance. It prioritizes portability and efficiency over professional-grade visual fidelity.

Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch M3

The Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch M3 fits users who need a sharp 14-inch display in a portable design. Weighing 3.4 pounds, it is much lighter than the Acer Swift Go. You get 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD, matching the Acer’s base specs. The M3 chip delivers solid performance for everyday tasks and creative work within its memory limits. However, the 14-inch screen is smaller than the 16-inch OLED panel, reducing visual immersion. It lacks the Thunderbolt 4 connectivity and AI acceleration of the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor. This alternative suits users who prioritize a compact, sharp display over a larger screen and advanced connectivity options for professional workflows.
