Who it fits
Good fit for
This laptop suits students or remote workers who need a large screen for spreadsheets and documents. The 16GB RAM handles multiple browser tabs and office apps smoothly. The 1TB SSD stores photos and files without filling up quickly. If you prioritize screen real estate and typing comfort over raw gaming power, this setup fits your daily workflow. The 2-year warranty adds peace of mind for long-term use.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you plan to play modern AAA games. The i5-7Y57 is a 7th Gen dual-core chip not designed for heavy graphics workloads. It lacks a dedicated GPU, so expect low frame rates in demanding titles. If you need high refresh rates or advanced visual effects, this machine will not meet your standards. It is better suited for light media consumption than intense gaming sessions.
Verdict: This is a practical 17.3-inch laptop for productivity and media, not a true gaming machine. Choose it for large-screen work and storage, not for high-end gaming.
NIAKUN 17.3 Core i5 Key Specs
Processor: Intel Core i5-7Y57
This 7th Gen chip runs at up to 3.2 GHz with two cores. It handles basic multitasking and light productivity tasks without lag. You should compare this against newer generations for heavier gaming. It is suitable for everyday work, web browsing, and standard office applications where high-end processing power is not required.
Memory: 16GB RAM
This amount of memory allows you to run multiple browser tabs and applications simultaneously. It prevents slowdowns when switching between programs. You will benefit from this capacity during content creation or when keeping many windows open. Compare this to 8GB models, which may struggle with heavier workloads or modern multitasking demands.
Storage: 1TB SSD
A one-terabyte solid-state drive provides ample space for files, photos, and games. It ensures fast boot times and quick file access. You can store large media libraries without needing external drives. This capacity is ideal for users who keep extensive data locally. Compare this to 256GB or 512GB options, which fill up much faster.

The build focuses on practical connectivity. You get a full-function Type-C port, USB 3.0, Mini HDMI, and a TF Card slot. This variety allows you to connect various peripherals without needing adapters. The device also includes Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connections. The 5000mAh battery supports up to 6 hours of offline use. This capacity supports moderate productivity sessions away from a power outlet. The overall design prioritizes utility and screen real estate over extreme gaming aesthetics.

Before You Buy This NIAKUN Laptop
This NIAKUN 17.3-inch laptop offers a large display and ample storage for everyday tasks. However, its 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7Y57 processor is an older chip. You should verify that your preferred software and games are compatible with this specific CPU generation. Newer titles may not run smoothly or at all. The 16GB of RAM helps with multitasking, but the limited storage options mean you must choose wisely between memory and disk space. Since it weighs 4.2 pounds, it is portable but not ultra-light. You will need a compatible power adapter and possibly a USB hub for its specific port selection. Consider how this model compares to other 1 laptops on this page. If you need high-end gaming performance, look elsewhere. For basic office work and media consumption, this device may suffice. Check your software requirements carefully before purchasing.
