Who it fits
Good fit for
You should consider this laptop if you work with multiple applications or browser tabs simultaneously. The 16GB of RAM and fast SSD help maintain smooth performance during heavy workflows. Professionals who need a large, high-resolution screen for detailed work will appreciate the 3K+ display. The convertible design suits users who occasionally want to use the device as a tablet. It is also a good choice for those who value Thunderbolt 4 connectivity for external monitors and fast data transfer.
Who should skip it
You might want to look at another option if you prioritize portability above all else. This device weighs 4.45 pounds and measures 0.78 inches thick. That makes it heavier and bulkier than many standard 13-inch or 14-inch laptops. If you carry your computer in a bag all day, the extra weight may become noticeable. Additionally, if you do not need the extra screen real estate, the 16-inch size might feel too large for your needs. The Intel Evo platform is powerful, but the physical footprint is substantial.
Verdict: This laptop offers a strong blend of processing power and a high-resolution display in a convertible chassis. It is well-suited for users who need performance and screen space in a flexible form factor.
Key specs explained
16GB RAM
This amount of memory allows you to run multiple applications and browser tabs simultaneously without significant slowdowns. It supports smooth multitasking for everyday productivity tasks and light creative work. When shopping, compare this to 8GB models, which may struggle with heavy workloads. 16GB is the practical standard for users who keep many programs open at once.
1TB SSD
A 1TB solid-state drive provides ample storage for your operating system, applications, and large files. It enables fast boot times and quick data transfers compared to traditional hard drives. This capacity suits users with extensive photo, video, or document libraries. It ensures you have enough space for gaming titles and professional software without needing external storage solutions.
Intel Core i7-12700H
This 12th Gen processor features 14 cores and 20 threads, offering strong performance for demanding tasks. It supports Intel Turbo Boost for higher speeds when needed. This chip is ideal for users who edit media, compile code, or run complex applications. It provides a noticeable performance advantage over lower-tier i5 processors, ensuring responsiveness during intensive workloads.
16-inch 3K+ display
The 16-inch screen offers a 3072 x 1920 resolution, delivering sharp visuals and ample workspace. The IPS panel provides wide viewing angles and accurate colors. This size is beneficial for multitasking and media consumption, offering more real estate than standard 15.6-inch laptops. The touch capability adds versatility for navigation and creative input on this larger canvas.
Design and Build Overview

The device stands 0.78 inches tall and weighs 4.45 pounds. This profile indicates a machine built for stability rather than portability. The 16-inch diagonal display is framed by edge-to-edge glass with a micro-edge design. An antireflection Corning Gorilla Glass NBT coating covers the screen to reduce glare. You should expect a sturdy build that prioritizes screen real estate over easy slipping into a small bag.
The exterior finish comes in Blue, offering a distinct visual identity. The laptop features a 2-in-1 convertible form factor, allowing you to switch between laptop and tablet modes. This flexibility suits users who need a single device for both typing and touch interaction. The backlit keyboard provides visibility in low-light environments, while the IR camera supports secure login. Before you buy this laptop
You should consider what accessories you need before purchasing. The device includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB Type-A, and HDMI 2.1. You may need a hub if you connect many peripherals. The microSD card reader helps for media transfers, but you might still want external storage for large files. Check that your existing monitors support the HDMI 2.1 output for best results. Keep the 1TB SSD organized, as it holds your operating system and applications. This model fits well alongside other options in our 1 product guide. It suits users who need a large, bright display and strong multitasking ability. The 16GB RAM ensures smooth performance with many browser tabs open. Unlike smaller ultrabooks, this 16-inch screen offers more workspace. However, the 4.45-pound weight means it is less portable. You should weigh this against lighter alternatives if you travel often. The 2-in-1 design allows for tablet use, which adds versatility for creative tasks or media consumption.
Check before you buy

- Confirm your carrying case fits the 14.1-inch length and 4.45-pound weight.
- Ensure your workflow benefits from the 16-inch 3K+ touchscreen resolution.
